We are currently looking for a Warehouse Lead Hand to join Radiant and be part of our dynamic team.
LOCATION: 1280 Courtneypark Drive East, Mississauga, ONT.
SHIFT: 2:30PM - 11:00PM
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with assigning and prioritizing duties in order to meet customer requirements.
- Investigate issues to find the root cause. Recommend solutions to resolve and prevent recurrence.
- Resolve escalated process issues with the team.
- Train new employees on processes and procedures.
- Assist with inventory control processes. Note and communicate inventory discrepancies.
- Operate Reach Truck (Raymond Reach), Order Picker and Counterbalance to load and unload trucks and move goods within the facility.
- Receive, handle, ship and store goods.
- Pull, pack, stage and prepare orders for shipment.
- Ensure orders are ready for shipment to customers in adherence to delivery schedules.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment through adherence to security and safety policies.
- Other duties and assignments as required.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of Reach Truck, Order Picker and Counterbalance in a warehouse / distribution centre.
- Prior leadership / supervisory experience.
- Experience working in a GMP / AIB facility is a definite asset.
- Ability to manually lift / carry product / boxes of various sizes up to 50 lbs.
- Effective and professional communication skills – writing (email etiquette), speaking, listening.
- Effective communication skills in English – read, write, listen and speak.
- Experience with warehouse management system (WMS).
- Able to work safely and effectively under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
