The Role
We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and community-driven Marketing and Outreach Coordinator to elevate our organization's visibility and deepen our engagement within the community. In this role, you will be the voice of Authentic Community Services Canada, driving our communications strategy, managing digital campaigns, building strong relationships with community partners, and spearheading our web presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Development & Management: Build, maintain, and routinely update the organization's WordPress website. Construct new pages and features, manage layouts using Elementor, update dynamic content through custom fields, and ensure overall site performance and responsiveness.
- Digital Marketing & Content Creation: Design and execute social media strategies across all platforms. Generate visual assets, marketing flyers, and digital content that maintain strict brand alignment and utilize specific color palettes.
- Community Outreach: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local organizations, community leaders, and funding bodies. Draft organizational outreach email templates to establish new community partnerships.
- Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and monitor outreach campaigns to promote our core programs, such as youth sports initiatives and community advocacy.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track the success of marketing campaigns, web traffic, and community engagement efforts. Compile data and intelligence reports to support program evaluation, grant compliance, and future planning.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or have completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, Public Relations, or a related field (or possess equivalent practical experience).
- Strong WordPress Expertise: Proven hands-on experience building and updating WordPress websites. Must be proficient in utilizing page builders like Elementor, navigating custom fields, and troubleshooting live versus editor layout issues.
- Experience (or relevant academic background) in digital marketing, community outreach, or campaign management, preferably within the non-profit or community services sector.
- Strong visual design skills and proficiency with graphic creation tools for producing corporate images and social media layouts.
- Familiarity with non-profit funding frameworks and maintaining data for grant compliance is a strong asset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor messaging for diverse, multicultural audiences.
- A genuine passion for social equity, community building, and supporting diverse populations.
