Job Overview
We are seeking a talented tattoo artist to join our new shop. The ideal candidate will already have an established clientele, as well as a passion for tattooing and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer experiences. This role involves taking some walk - ins and bringing in your own clients while maintaining a professional, sanitary, and welcoming environment. Must have a minimum of 4 years of professional tattooing under their belt.
Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas, preferences, and expectations
- Design unique artwork tailored to each client’s vision
- Prepare the workspace following strict sanitation and safety protocols
- Operate tattoo equipment with precision and care, ensuring high-quality results
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment throughout all procedures
- Provide excellent guest services by guiding clients through the process and aftercare instructions
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by demonstrating strong communication skills and professionalism
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a portfolio of work demonstrating artistic skill and creativity
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Experience in retail sales, upselling, or front desk operations is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining individual artistic integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure positive guest experiences and repeat business
- Flexibility to adapt to client needs and studio schedules
