Warehousing, shipping and receiving ($25 + depending on qualifications and experience)
Responsibilities
- Manipulates heavy loads using forklift and crane (for incoming goods, packing and shipping orders)
- Handles material (some heavy) with fork-lift, crane and manually
- Receives and puts away incoming parts and material
- Picks and pack parts orders
- Picks and packs rolling cages for production department
- Fulfills all written and verbal instructions given by Parts and Purchasing Department
- Builds wooden skids and crates for Customer orders, to ensure goods are protected for domestic and international shipment
- Performs inventory counts as required
- Distributes and keep track of shop supplies for production department
- Understands shipping policies, procedures, and methods
- Performs housekeeping and clean-up of stock room
- Other general warehouse duties
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ warehouse experience
- Forklift certification required (overhead crane as asset)
- Carpentry experience
- Ability to use construction tools, including saws, drills etc.
- Ability to read tape measure, add, subtract, multiply, divide
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task effectively and meet deadlines
- High School Education (can read and write, English only ok)
- Must be a fast learner, driven and self-motivated
- Standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
