Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure a polished appearance
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in restrooms and break areas
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers following proper procedures
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic building upkeep techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers is advantageous
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and consistency
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
