Concrete Crew Lead
We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Crew Lead to join our growing team on projects in the Saskatoon region. This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone who leads by example, works alongside their crew, and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality work.
Reporting to the Site Superintendent / Foreman, the successful candidate will help oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate crews and materials, and support the successful completion of concrete and formwork projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead crews of carpenters and labourers in daily site activities
- Support the Foreman/Superintendent with coordination of work and crew supervision
- Assist with planning work activities and maintaining project schedules
- Oversee concrete formwork installation and removal to meet project specifications
- Coordinate labour, materials, tools, and equipment to keep work progressing efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout information
- Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Enforce company safety policies, OH&S regulations, and site-specific safety requirements
- Conduct toolbox talks and assist with daily paperwork and reporting
- Mentor and support apprentices and newer workers on site
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Communicate professionally with site management, clients, subcontractors, and other trades
- Perform other duties as assigned by site supervision
Qualifications & Requirements
- Journeyperson Carpenter certification or equivalent field experience considered an asset
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry and concrete formwork experience
- Previous leadership experience as a Lead Hand or Foreman preferred
- Strong knowledge of concrete formwork systems and construction practices
- Ability to read blueprints and understand site layout requirements
- Experience using power tools and construction equipment safely
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
