Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain and clean the building while it is closed to the public. This is a part-time role with consistent scheduling, requiring three to five shifts per week.
Cleaning is completed either at night after building closure or in the early morning before reopening, depending on event schedules. This role requires flexibility within defined time windows to ensure cleaning is completed when the building is not in use.
Work Schedule Details
All cleaning must be completed while the building is closed. Shifts occur within the following time windows:
Night cleaning (standard):
- Typically between 8:00pm – 12:00am
Morning cleaning (when events run late):
- Typically between 4:00am – 8:00am
- May extend up to 10:00am when additional cleaning is required
This is not an overnight shift. All work is scheduled within these defined time blocks and must be completed before the building reopens for public use.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain building cleanliness and appearance
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
- Clean and disinfect washrooms
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces
- Dust and wipe surfaces throughout the facility
- Empty garbage and recycling and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Spot-clean walls and surfaces as needed
- Restock basic supplies as required
- Perform event-related cleaning when scheduled
- Follow cleaning schedules, procedures, and checklists
- Report maintenance or safety concerns when identified
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required (mandatory)
- High school diploma not required, but preferred
- No previous cleaning experience required
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
