Position Summary:
The Dining Server position is responsible for the execution of all aspects of food and beverage service to our residents.
Position Characteristics:
Shifts:
7am - 3pm
9:30am - 3:30pm
· Execute meal service
· Clean and sanitize tables, chairs and all surfaces in dining and kitchen areas
· Dining room set up
· Busing dishes
· Washing dishes
· Vacuuming the dining room
· Equipment cleaning and maintenance
· Snack preparation, dessert portioning and assisting with food preparation
· Set up of all beverages
· Carrying large trays with plates
· Putting away dishes and glasses
· Recording temperatures regularly as per Public Health
· Taking out garbage and recycling
As Dining Server and Heritage River Retirement Residence team member positivity and a sense of urgency are a must. An up-beat attitude is necessary and resident-first state of mind is mandatory. Keeping a clean and organized environment is a job requirement as it ensures an expedited and efficient delivery of product. Being able to multitask and make well thought out decisions is a must.
Must Have 2 Covid Vaccine Shots
This is not a summer position.
