Position: Part-Time Production Associate (OR Department)
Your Role in Upholding Quality:
- Inspect & Prepare: Delint, hand fold, stack, assemble, and wrap surgical linen to meet stringent sterilization standards.
- Quality Control: Meticulously inspect linens for defects, ensuring they meet the highest quality requirements for operating rooms.
- Pack Assembly: Assemble linen packs with precision, ensuring each pack is ready for sterilization.
- Sterilization: Prepare packs for loading and initiate the sterilization process, ensuring the utmost cleanliness.
- Data Entry: Use computers for accurate data entry and product scanning.
- Maintain Order: Keep your work area clean and lint-free, contributing to a sterile environment.
- Team Support: Perform other duties to ensure smooth department operations and uphold quality standards.
Shift Expectations:
- Weekend Warriors: Work all Saturdays, Sundays, and Statutory Holidays.
- Preferred Availability: Morning or Afternoon shifts Mon-Fri (3:30 pm to 12:00 am or 6:30am –3pm), Sat-Sun (9:00 am to 5:30 pm).
- Training: Must be available Monday-Friday for training for 40 hours for up to 6 weeks.
Qualifications:
- Reliable Attendance: Great track record of attendance.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 30lbs, stand for 9 hours, and perform repetitive movements.
- References: 1-2 professional references.
- Willingness to Learn: No previous experience required—if you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to teach! Experience in quality control, healthcare, or lab environments is a plus.
