Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physiotherapist (Pelvic Floor Certified) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess specialized training in pelvic floor therapy and have experience working in hospital or acute care settings. This role offers an opportunity to provide expert patient care, contribute to recovery plans, and support patients through their rehabilitation journey. The Physiotherapist will play a vital role in delivering personalized treatment plans, utilizing their expertise in pelvic health, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' pelvic health conditions through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve pelvic floor function and address related issues
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal recovery
- Educate patients on pelvic health, injury prevention, and self-management techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records
- Stay current with advancements in pelvic floor therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice
- Assist in managing acute care cases, including post-surgical rehabilitation and complex patient needs
- Support pediatric patients with pelvic health concerns as needed, ensuring age-appropriate care approaches
Skills
- Valid licensure as a Physiotherapist with Pelvic Floor Certification
- Experience working in hospital or acute care environments is preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric pelvic health issues is a plus
- Strong patient care skills with compassionate communication and active listening abilities
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Excellent assessment skills combined with the ability to develop effective treatment strategies
- Adaptability to diverse patient populations and clinical situations

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
