We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Massage Therapist will work in a serene environment dedicated to health and relaxation, helping clients achieve their wellness goals through expert massage techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess clients’ physical condition and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend future sessions or wellness practices.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client needs clearly.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring attitude at all times.
- Prior experience in massage therapy is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed, to accommodate client schedules.
Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
