We are seeking a responsible candidate to fill the position of Lottery Account Representative out of our Saskatoon office. Role includes frequent travel to lottery retailers in a specified territory within 500 kilometers of Saskatoon. One overnight stay, bi-weekly is required.
Job Purpose
To assist beneficiary organizations in meeting their financial needs by operating a fundraising program utilizing Western Canada Lottery Corporation products and programs.
As a Lottery Account Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving player participation and engagement in the lottery within your assigned territory. Your primary responsibilities include fostering strong relationships with retailers, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery, offering training and support to retailers, and maintaining up-to-date inventory and promotional materials.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Lottery Account Management
- Deliver ordered games and supplies to retailers, adhering to all traffic regulations to ensure personal safety and the secure delivery of lottery games and materials.
- Distribute lottery products and supplies to retailers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery and adequate stock.
- Verify and issue Scratch & Win books to retailers, forecast usage, and manage emergency ticket orders.
- Reconcile returned books and credited tickets, ensuring accurate accounting and returns.
- Load and prepare the vehicle with deliveries, equipment, and promotional materials.
- Order bulk stock for additional inventory for retailers.
2. Enhance Lottery Retail Network
- Collaborate with retailers onsite to grow player participation in the lottery.
- Provide retailers with the necessary training and information on best practices.
- Provide retailer reports based on their needs (commissions, sales, income tax, etc.).
- Foster strong relationships with retailers, discussing game releases, product needs and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Communicate changes, policies, and new games to retailers.
- Coordinate retailer promotions, ensuring all material is up to date and following all brand guidelines.
3. Other duties
- Participate at all Lottery Division sales meetings.
- Participate at various functions and events.
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated skills in the following areas:
- Clear communication ‐ verbal and written
- Sound administration and time management with attention to detail
- Computer programs and databases - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe
Demonstrated abilities in the following areas:
- Developing customer/client relationships
- Sales analysis and successful promotion creation with customer accounts
- Self motivated and enthusiastic
- Work collaboratively with individuals and in team settings
- Develop and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or a strong combination of relevant training and experience.
- Applicant must be bondable.
- Comfortable with regular to high frequency of highway travel and regular overnight travel throughout Saskatchewan.
Working Conditions
- Full time (37.5 hours/week).
- Travel is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Able to lift 25-30 lb cartons
- Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Pay: $63,302.00-$85,764.00 per year
