We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our client team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our business footprint through proactive client engagement, developing new sales opportunities, and managing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of B2B sales, and experience in the manufacturing space, and industrial fastener, tools and supplies. Fluency in French and English is essential, enabling effective communication with diverse clients. Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and networking within the Montreal and Greater Montreal Region.
- Travel to various client and prospective client locations to perform client needs analysis and product solutions presentations
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
- Assist inside sales with quotation parameters to ensure clients have the most suitable products at the best price
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for market penetration and brand awareness
- Utilize Hubspot CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and account activities
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support technical sales efforts by understanding product specifications and translating them into client benefits
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or business development, preferably in the Industrial Fasteners / Cutting Tools / Industrial Tools / Abrasives / Welding / Pneumatic Tools / Health & Safety tools supplies and consumables
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market data and customer needs effectively
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Hubspot, strong MS Office Skills
- Demonstrated success in account management and expanding client portfolios
- Knowledge of marketing strategies related to sales growth
- Fluency in English and French is essential for engaging with a diverse client base
- Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building relationships and closing deals
