As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring that every customer has an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of drinks.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food service and alcohol consumption.
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of various beverages, cocktails, and drink recipes is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
