Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong skills in project management, construction estimating, and familiarity with various construction management software. The Project Administrator will collaborate closely with project managers, sales staff, and operations staff and to facilitate communication and maintain project documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Utilize project management software to track project progress and manage resources.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with team members using for document sharing and markup.
- Monitor timelines and deadlines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Support the project team in coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Facilitate communication between various stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management or a related field within the facilities and construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction management software is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
