Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in selecting cannabis products, provide information on strains, usage, and effects, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide accurate information on different cannabis products
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell products to increase sales revenue
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Adhere to all legal regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products
Requirements
- Cansell certification
- Criminal background check
- 19+ in age
- 1 year retail/customer service experience
-high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in cash handling and cashiering
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Ability to upsell products to enhance sales
- Strong organizational skills to manage product displays and store cleanliness
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Physical requirements
-frequent reaching above the waist, chest, and shoulder level as well as below the waist.
-frequent to continuous need for manual dexterity in both hands
-frequent lifting of boxes and supplies
-continuous standing
Schedule
- WEEKENDS
- Coverage as needed - on call
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
