Job Description: Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Preliminary screening tests with patients
· Educating patients on eye health related issues
· Reception and telephone handling
· Accurately completing daily reports
· Data entry
· Ophthalmology referrals
· Insurance and Alberta Health Care billings
· Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
- Optical dispensing
· Continual learning and application of contact lenses, contact lens related products, new technology in instruments, nutraceuticals and dry eye associated products.
Qualifications:
- Flexible availability
- Able to work Saturdays
- Travel between locations if required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoy constant learning
- Fluent in Mandarin is advantageous
- Experience in the optical field and ophthalmic dispensing would be an asset
