Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
Wage: Starting at $18/hour
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance in selecting apparel, riding gear, accessories, and related products.
- Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and process orders efficiently.
- Direct incoming calls to the appropriate department and take messages when required.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, stock counts, merchandising, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Coordinate incoming, outgoing, and internal deliveries.
- Stay current on manufacturer programs, product offerings, special orders, and parts catalog systems.
- Help identify future product opportunities and stocking requirements based on customer demand and industry trends.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and industry contacts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment.
- Assist with dealership events, trade shows, and promotional activities as needed.
- Create basic social media content to showcase new arrivals, featured products, and sales events.
- Provide occasional reception coverage and assist with administrative duties such as filing, petty cash handling, and bank deposits.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or apparel experience is preferred, especially within a powersports, automotive, or dealership environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning dealership software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Flexible, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced workplace.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
