Store Manager (Business Mentorship & Sales Leader)
Location: Strathroy Ontario
Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent (30–39 hours/week)
Schedule: We are open Monday 11-4, Tuesday-Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-4; Sundays always off!

Now, the owner is looking for a dedicated Store Manager to work hand-in-hand with them. This isn't just a standard retail gig—it’s a unique mentorship opportunity to learn every single facet of running a successful, long-standing retail business from the ground up.
The Role: What You’ll Do
As our Store Manager, you will wear many hats. You’ll be the face of the sales floor, the backbone of the stockroom, and the engine behind our daily operations.
- Partner with the Owner: Work side-by-side with the owner to master inventory management, buying, business operations, and customer retention.
- Drive & Create Sales: Lead by example on the floor. Anyone can ring up a purchase, but you know how to turn a defensive "I'm just browsing" into an authentic conversation and a multi-pair sale.
- Own the Floor & Stockroom: Receive shipments, efficiently organize inventory, and ensure the floor is perfectly stocked and visually appealing.
- Manage Tech & Admin Tasks: Comfortably navigate our computer systems, POS, inventory software, and handling daily managerial reporting.
What We Are Looking For
- Relevant Retail Experience: You have a proven track record in retail management or high-level sales. Shoe experience is a major plus, but a passion for product and people is a must.
- The "Sales Magic": You possess exceptional hustle. You are proactive, engaging, and possess the rare ability to create sales opportunities out of thin air without being pushy.
- Computer Proficiency: You are tech-savvy. You can navigate modern POS systems, spreadsheets, and basic digital store management tools with ease.
- Physical Stamina: Retail keeps you on your feet. You must be able to lift, move, and neatly put away heavy boxes of stock daily.
- Reliability & Integrity: Because you will be working so closely with ownership, honesty, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are non-negotiable.
