What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement customized exercise therapy programs to support injury recovery, rehabilitation, and functional movement.
- Conduct functional assessments and collaborate with Occupational Therapists to support client rehabilitation and return-to-work goals.
- Assisting with therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Preparing and maintaining therapy equipment and treatment spaces.
- Documenting client progress as directed.
- Supporting administrative tasks related to client care (e.g., scheduling, session preparation).
- Educate clients on injury prevention, movement strategies, and self-management techniques.
- Deliver community-based rehabilitation in home, workplace, and clinic environments.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology (or equivalent).
- Registered with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).
- Valid CPR & First Aid certification (required).
- Must reside in Kamloops or area.
- Reliable vehicle & ability to travel within Nanaimo and nearby communities.
- Business License (or willingness to obtain).
- Personal Liability Insurance (required).
