Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our team at Travelodge Hotel and Perkins Restaurant in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and inviting for our guests, supporting our commitment to quality and value.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across hotel and restaurant facilities.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or fixtures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Painting, plumbing and some minor electrical
- BE able to work afternoons and weekends a must
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to handle various maintenance tasks as needed.
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel maintenance is a plus.
