How You'll Perform the Role
Principal Job Duties
- Independently perform basic troubleshooting and machine setups on a single thermoforming platform (Kiefel, Brown, OMG, or GN) and associate equipment with a high degree of quality and efficiency, and within best practice timelines.
- Support continuous improvement projects.
- Train lower-level Setup Technicians on performing basic setup tasks.
- Perform process troubleshooting of the thermoforming machines and all related systems.
- Perform product qualification process to meet the quality standards.
- Actively participate in projects related to production efficiency, cycle time improvement, waste reduction and operational optimization
- Support sample making activities.
- Diligently follow lockout / tag out procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S in own work area and around work units.
- Perform all work in a safe manner and fully comply with the Safety and Quality (GMP) policies and procedures of the Company.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management.
What We Need From You
Job Requirements
- Good understanding of mechanical and control functions of machines
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in thermoforming / plastics processing
- Able to operate narrow aisle forklift, overhead crane, Blue Giant, Tool cart and pallet jack.
- Fully versed with using measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper and Micrometer
- Strong knowledge of plastic moulds
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Lift and move product / parts / boxes when required
- Strong knowledge of plastic molds

- Able to work in a 12-hour continental shift with bi-monthly rotation.
