Flashing Fabrication & Installation Technician

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7AM to 3.30PM (Overtime Available)

Job Overview
We are looking for a Flashing Fabrication & Installation Technician to join our team. This role combines shop fabrication and field installation, giving you the opportunity to fabricate custom flashings and trim before installing them on commercial construction projects. If you have experience operating sheet metal equipment and enjoy both shop and site work, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Operate sheet metal brakes, shears, and hand tools to fabricate custom flashings and trim.
- Read shop drawings, specifications, and cut lists to produce accurate components.
- Install fabricated flashings, copings, trim, and related metalwork on commercial buildings.
- Ensure proper fit, overlap, alignment, and waterproofing during installation.
- Work alongside roofing and siding crews to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain quality standards while minimizing material waste.
- Follow all company and job site safety procedures.
Requirements
- Experience operating a sheet metal brake or similar metal forming equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and construction specifications.
- Comfortable working in both a fabrication shop and on construction sites.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Assets
- Sheet Metal Worker (308A) certification or registered apprentice.
- Working at Heights Certification.
- Experience with architectural flashings or custom sheet metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with steel, aluminum, copper, and other sheet metal materials.

Pay: $52,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
