The HR Recruiter/ Coordinator serves as a key resource for the HR team in the execution and administration of a variety of HR initiatives designed to attract, engage, and retain the best talent for our Langley Distribution & Service Centre (DSC). The primary focus of this role is on recruitment support and administration for the HR team and leaders at the DSC. The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at the Langley DSC.
As an HR Recruiter/ Coordinator you will help with….
Recruiting/Onboarding:

Posting jobs internally and on external job sites, ensures postings are fresh and up to date

Maintaining recruiting logs and providing data for headcount report

Conducting phone interviews in support of high-volume recruitment

Scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers
-
Completing reference checks and criminal background checks on an ad hoc basis

Coordinating entire onboarding process for new hires including Workday on-boarding and training is sent to and completed by candidates on a timely basis

Facilitating new hire orientation sessions on a weekly basis
Provide HR Support:
-
Primary contact for standard HR programs (i.e., Associate of the month, benefits enrolment, shoe reimbursement program, annual service awards, quarterly celebrations)

Managing and overseeing the HUBTV communications (Brightsign Network)

Responding to general employee relations inquiries, escalating issues to HR Advisor and/or HR Manager

Overseeing the completion of online training module completion for associates

Support leaders and employees with policy interpretations and HR processes

Maintaining employee files and documents in Workday

Take ownership of people administration including building reports and data entry in a fast-paced and changing environment

Support with delivery of HR programs to ensure programs are carried out effectively

The experience we need…

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced environment and has good attention to detail

HR certificate/diploma or equivalent experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential

Must be engaged in high volume recruitment

Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively, multitask and thrive in a fast paced, quickly evolving environment

Displays a strong knowledge of internal processes, policies and SOPs
-
Must be able to foster a positive work environment through actions and attitude reflective of the company values

Hands on experience with Workday administration is a strong asset

Must be willing and open to be train on various functions, including learning new skills related to the job as business needs change

Annualized Compensation Range
$47,000.00 - $55,000.00
This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above.
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
