Overview
We are seeking a professional AZ Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed trucks to transport freight to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in accordance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations.
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
- Attention to detail in maintaining logs and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- 24 age/ 2 years verifiable A-Z Driving Experience
- Clean CVOR/ Abstract Record
- One photo ID other than a license (Passport/ Citizenship card/ PR/ Work Visa), PCC if available
- Must know about ELD.
