Carnegie Contracting is a family owned residential framing business in Guelph, ON. We are looking to hire reliable, hardworking individuals to join our crews.
Our company is seeking a Framer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and quickly, and should enjoy working outside.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily tasks as assigned, in a safe and efficient manner
- Use hand and power tools
- Accurately measure, cut, nail building materials
- Work cooperatively with other framers
- Read blueprints an asset
- Unpack and pack up tools/materials at the beginning and end of the workday
- Help maintain a clean worksite by clearing away construction waste and debris
- Adhere to onsite health and safety protocols, including wearing proper safety clothing and gear
Additional Qualifications/Experience:
- Ability to follow/provide instruction, work independently
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Energetic - a physical demanding job involving heavy lifting and working outdoors
- Relevant construction experience
- Valid Working at Heights
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
