Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice for FRIDAYS/SATURDAYS. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinical activities. Proficiency in Tracker dental software system.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software Tracker
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist when needed
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program
- Experience with dental software Tracker preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic first aid with AED-not mandatory
