Job Overview
The Office Cleaner ensures all assigned areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in accordance with company policies and health regulations. This role plays an important part in supporting a healthy and professional workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors in office, lunchroom, locker rooms, washrooms, and designated warehouse areas
- Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures, including sinks, toilets, counters, microwaves, and refrigerators
- Maintain cleanliness of main entrance, front office, and exterior entry areas
- Clean and sanitize shared spaces such as hallways, lunchrooms, washrooms, and locker rooms
- Clean windows, walls, doors, ceilings, and other interior surfaces as required
- Remove dust, dirt, and cobwebs from vents, corners, and hard-to-reach areas
- Ensure proper housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
- Report any unsafe conditions, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly to management
- Follow all health and safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Respond to cleanliness-related concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience considered an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
