Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Truck Driver to join our team as a company driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service.
Main duties
- Drive commercial trucks to deliver freight, equipment, and materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Assist with heavy equipment operation when required
- Follow traffic laws, safety rules, and company procedures
- Communicate with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers
Required skills & qualifications
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving or freight transport
- Basic knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting/repairs
- Strong understanding of safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Freight handling experience is an asset
