About the Role
This role sits within Hardland's Technician Career Ladder (T0-T3), offering clear expectations, skill-based wage progression, and transparent advancement opportunities.
The Landscape Technician 2 is an independent installer role for someone who can complete standard tasks with limited supervision and maintain quality at a productive pace.
What You'll Do
- complete standard paver, retaining wall, grading, planting, and fencing tasks
- read plans, layout direction, and elevations at a working level
- set or support grade control with laser or transit
- complete standard cuts, fitting, and finish work
- install pressure treated wood fencing and chain-link fencing with limited supervision
- operate approved tools and equipment safely
- support winter operations if assigned and qualified

- works independently with low rework
- maintains pace without sacrificing finish quality
- reduces supervision load on the crew
- communicates clearly and supports lower-level team members
- progresses toward Senior Lead Installer readiness

Training and Development
Hardland invests in training and skill development. Depending on your role and progression, training may include:
- Concrete Paver Installer Course
- Segmental Retaining Wall Installer Course
- Residential Hardscape Installer Course
- Commercial Hardscape Installer Course
- skid steer operator training
- excavator training where assigned
- DZ-AR Restricted training where required
- Hardland SOP and standards training
- Every technician has a clear path to grow within Hardland.

Advancement Path

Pay: $25.00-$28.50 per hour
