Roska DBO Inc. is looking for a
Journeyman or Experienced Apprentice Pipefitter to join our busy
Maintenance team. This is a full-time position for a motivated, safety-focused tradesperson who enjoys a mix of shop and field-based work.
This position requires you to be local to the Grande Prairie Area or willing to relocate. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic company that values integrity, continuous improvement, and strong team relationships.
Qualifications:
- Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract
- Registered Journeyman or Apprentice Pipefitter
- Oil & Gas maintenance experience is a strong asset
- Strong oral and written communication with proven problem-solving ability
- Willing to work flexible hours and travel when needed
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand process pipe drawings, fit pipe spools according to spool drawing
- Perform equipment inspections
- Complete all documentation and requirements
- Clamping and structural support of pipe systems
- Comprehension and compliance with all safety procedures
Competencies:
- Experience with flange management
- Hammer Union experience an asset
- Good knowledge of hand tools and threading equipment
- Ability to perform material take offs for piping systems
- Work well with others and at times with little or no supervision
- Ability to follow direction and maintain a high level of awareness and concentration
- Capable of working within a fast-paced environment
