Our multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, nurse practitioners, naturopathic doctors, and rehabilitation specialists, works collaboratively to deliver personalized, evidence-based care. As a Medical Injector at Integra Health & Integra Skinlab, you will serve as a trusted clinical expert, delivering a full suite of injectable and regenerative treatments in a supportive, high-volume skin clinic. Key Responsibilities
Patient Consultations & Treatment Planning
- Conduct thorough, individualized consultations to assess aesthetic concerns and develop tailored treatment plans aligned with patient goals.
- Provide expert guidance on treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, and post-procedure care.
- Build lasting, trust-based relationships with patients.
Injectable Treatments — Neuromodulators
Administer neurotoxins (e.g., Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) for the following indications:
- Glabellar lines (frown lines)
- Forehead lines
- Lateral canthal lines (crow's feet)
- DAO (depressor anguli oris) — downturned mouth corners
- Platysmal bands (lower face/neck)
- Masseter hypertrophy — facial slimming & TMJ relief
- Hyperhidrosis — excessive sweating (axillary, palmar)
Injectable Treatments — Dermal Fillers (Hyaluronic Acid)
Administer hyaluronic acid fillers for facial rejuvenation and contouring, including:
- Lip augmentation and definition
- Nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines
- Tear troughs (if trained)
- Temple volumization
- Cheek augmentation and contouring (if trained)
- Jawline definition and sculpting (if trained)
Biostimulators & Advanced Injectables
- Sculptra® (PLLA) — collagen stimulation for long-term facial rejuvenation
- Radiesse® (CaHA) — volumizing and biostimulatory treatment
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws for PRP preparation
- Process and prepare PRP using clinic protocol prepared by Medical Director
- Administer PRP injections for facial rejuvenation (including microneedling with PRP)
- Administer PRP for hair restoration and scalp health
Emergency Preparedness & Patient Safety
All injectors must be authorized and maintain current training to:
- Recognize and respond to vascular occlusion events — implement emergency protocol and administer hyaluronidase as delegated
- Recognize and manage anaphylaxis — administer epinephrine per standing orders
- Maintain current emergency certifications and participate in clinic safety reviews
Post-Procedure Care & Follow-Up
- Provide thorough verbal and written aftercare instructions to all patients
- Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments and touch-ups within the scope of the treatment directive
- Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in clinic EMR
Qualifications
Required
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Medical Doctor (MD) with a valid, current license to practice in Ontario
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on injecting experience with proficiency across neuromodulators and dermal fillers
- Demonstrated competency in facial anatomy and a strong understanding of safe injection technique
- Current emergency management training (anaphylaxis, vascular occlusion response, hyaluronidase use)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Preferred / Assets
- Interest in enhancing natural aesthetic and facial balancing
- Entrepreneurial skills in building a client roster
- Established patient following is considered a strong asset
- Advanced filler experience: lips, jawline, temple, cheeks
- Experience with biostimulators (Sculptra®, Radiesse®)
- Certification or experience in PRP therapy
