About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organized individual to join our Managing Partner's team. This position combines legal assistant and office administrator responsibilities, providing direct exposure to clients and offering opportunities to develop a diverse skill set in a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone who excels at time management, multitasking, and organization, and enjoys working in a dynamic legal environment with a variety of responsibilities.

Legal Assistant Responsibilities Include:
- Draft, edit, and issue correspondence
- Manage and maintain internal tickler system and deadlines
- Typing, transcription, and document preparation
- Conduct basic legal research
- Filing, document management, and record keeping
- Provide overflow support to lawyers and staff
- Copy, bind, and arrange deliveries
Administrative Responsibilities Include:
- Order, distribute, and organize supplies
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Manage Zoom and boardroom bookings
- Support Conference set-up, planning and attendance
- Run errands such as bank deposit drop off
- Assist with general reception tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Experience working with collection files is considered an asset
- Typing speed: 70 - 80 WPM preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), Zoom, and general computer applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Strong proofreading and document drafting skills (English)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- A valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle are considered assets
Education & Experience:
- Education: Post-secondary degree/ diploma considered an asset
- Experience: 2–4 years as a Legal Assistant
Compensation & Schedule:
- Salary: $65,000-80,000 /yr (commensurate with experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (35 hours/week with 1-hour lunch)
