Full- time position 11pm - 7:30am. Monday - Friday
Please note that the Friday shift starts at 11pm and ends Saturday at 7:30am
This position is in a warehouse environment. This environment is dusty and involves a fair amount of walking and labour. Employees will need to be aware of moving forklifts and other vehicles. This position may need to be trained on using large ride on sweeper vehicles.
Duties:
- Refill all dispensers (toilet tissue, hand soap/sanitizers, paper towel); and wipe down inside and outside
- Empty trash and replace with new liners; wipe down outside
- Clean and sanitize all fixtures, counters, doors & mirrors
- Sweep/Vacuum and mop warehouse floors
- High and low dusting
- Clean and spot clean any windows and entrance way mirrors
- Vacuum under trash can in each work station
- Vacuum all traffic areas, spot vacuum all other areas
- Vacuum crumbs, dust and spills on furniture
- Reposition furniture
- Sweep and mop any areas assigned
- Turn off lights and secure area as required upon completion of room/area
- Clean out vacuum as required
- Empty trash and recycle bins, reinstall liners, wipe down outside
- Clean trays (paper, mail)
- Dust all horizontal surfaces starting from the top, moving down (desks, file cabinets, pictures, shelving
- Spot clean desks for fingerprints, coffee rings, spills, etc
- Pick up paper clips, paper, pencils, staples, etc. from floor
- Spot clean doors, partition glass and light switches
- Clean phones
- Other custodian duties as required
Pay: $19.60 per hour
