We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Quesnel, BC. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and hardworking team within a respected full-service glass business.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, punctuality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Candidates should also be comfortable with moderate physical activity, including lifting.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, organize, and coordinate daily operations alongside management
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
- Support sales initiatives by handling customer inquiries, preparing estimates, and following up on leads
- Process customer transactions accurately, including invoicing, payments, and cash balancing
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including accurate cash handling and paperwork completion
- Maintain high customer service standards by ensuring all customer concerns are addressed efficiently or escalated appropriately
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties in a timely and accurate manner
- Conduct inventory checks and provide reports to management as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storefront, workspaces, and exterior areas in accordance with company safety and operational standards
- Perform rock chip repairs and assist automotive glass technicians and installers with basic shop and job-site tasks
- Support a positive team environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant customer service or industry experience
- Moderate knowledge of glass industry products is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict de-escalation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract
- CSA-approved work shoes required
- Ability to work eight (8) hour weekday shifts, with overtime as required
- Physically capable of moderate lifting and active work duties
