Trivia Event Host / Emcee
Tipsy Trivia | Evenings & Weekends | Contract / Part-Time
Tipsy Trivia runs fast-paced, high-energy trivia, music bingo, and name-that-tune events at busy bars and restaurants. We are expanding into new locations and are looking for confident, reliable hosts who can independently run live events and command a room.
This role is ideal for people who enjoy public speaking, live entertainment, and being the person who sets the tone for the night.

This role requires regular Saturday and weekend availability. If you cannot work Saturdays, please do not apply.
This role also requires:
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle
- Access to a personal laptop or PC capable of running event software
If you do not have all three (weekend availability, vehicle, and laptop/PC), please do not apply. Applications without these requirements will not be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the face of Tipsy Trivia at your venue.
- Hosting live trivia, music bingo, and name-that-tune events using our provided content and software
- Engaging players, hyping the room, and keeping the energy moving
- Explaining rules clearly and managing the pace of the game
- Coordinating smoothly with venue staff
- Setting up and running basic event tech (laptop, microphone, TV)
- Arriving early, staying organized, and running a professional event from start to finish
- Communicating with your team lead before and after events
- Light admin tasks tied directly to the event
Requirements
- Confident public speaker with strong people skills
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Comfortable using a laptop, microphone, and basic event tech
- Reliable personal vehicle (travel between venues required)
- Personal laptop or PC capable of running our event software
- Smartphone with data for event communication
- Available evenings and Saturdays/weekends (mandatory)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Bonus Experience
- Hosting, emcee, improv, performance, or entertainment experience
- Live audience engagement (events, radio, comedy, tours, streaming, etc.)
- Customer-facing or promotional roles
