Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring project efficiency, coordination, and communication across various phases of construction projects.
Responsibilities
· Work closely with the Project Managers on the bid process for jobs, which includes specification review, calendar management, review of all bid submissions, site visits, developing estimates, reporting, checklists, delivery and receipts of submitted bids and all required follow up.
· Work with the Project managers on all requirements for a project startup.
· Complete required paperwork and documentation for Project Managers.
· Work with Project Managers on project execution which includes site access information, acquiring estimates from sub-trades, site inspections reports, filing legislated documentation, etc.
· Act as contact for clients ensuring all relevant job information is current.
· Completing estimates for each project including sketches, determining line items and costs.
· Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with both internal and external business and community partners.
· Data Entry.
· Other duties as required.
Qualifications
· 3 - 5 years of work experience in an intermediate administrative support capacity
· Business Administration Diploma, Project Management Certification, or related certificate is an asset
· Exceptional skills in Microsoft office programs including Word, Outlook and Excel. Certification in
· Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
· Extensive data entry experience with a high degree of accuracy
· Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
· Clear understanding of construction terminology will be considered an asset
· Previous work in the insurance industry, construction, restoration or mechanical industry is a definite asset.
