Roustan Sports, a division of True Sports, is looking for a QuickBooks Bookkeeper to join the team.
About the Role
The QuickBooks bookkeeper records daily financial transactions, processes accounts payable/receivable, manages payroll, and reconciles bank statements using QuickBooks software. They track debits and credits, generate financial statements (like P&L and balance sheets), and help prepare records for tax time.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Recording: Enter and categorize daily sales, expenses, and receipts.
- Invoicing & Billing: Create, send, and track client invoices, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to verify balance accuracy.
- Reporting: Generate cash flow reports, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate and process bi-weekly payroll, including relevant tax filings.
- Compliance: Support annual audits and assist with corporate or personal tax preparations.
- Other office duties as assigned such as PO's, shipping admin, office admin
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software, primarily QuickBooks Online.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles (such as double entry) and high attention to detail.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with Canadian payroll and tax remittances (GST/HST/CRA requirements for local candidates).

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
