Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sales Department Lot Porter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the dealership lot. Your proactive approach will help facilitate efficient vehicle movement, support sales activities, and uphold our commitment to exceptional guest services. With many roles within dealership there is always also room for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the movement and organization of vehicles on the dealership lot to ensure optimal presentation and accessibility
- Greet guests warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lot, including parking areas and display zones
- Verify vehicle condition upon arrival or departure, noting any damages or discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and guest needs
- Capture clear, high-quality photographs of dealership inventory for use on the dealership website, online vehicle listings, and digital marketing platforms. Prepare vehicles for photography by ensuring they are clean, properly positioned, and presented in accordance with dealership standards
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive industry experience is preferred
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience in hospitality or customer service roles demonstrates excellent communication skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of technology & some AI integration utilizing dealership software for various tasked required such as posting pictures of inventory to website
- Logistics coordination, monitoring incoming and outgoing inventory to be sure units are where they need to be
