Job Title: Asset Registry Analyst
Job Location: Edmonton, AB
Schedule: Hybrid – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in office; Wednesday, Friday remote
Our client is seeking an Asset Registry Analyst to support data improvement initiatives within Asset Information Management. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with technical data to ensure accuracy and quality across asset systems.
What's the Job?
- Apply established guidelines and procedures to support data improvement within Asset Information Management repositories
- Review, manage, and close service requests, including validating project turnover documentation such as drawings, asset lists, and tagging
- Update and maintain asset records, location hierarchies, and attributes within Maximo, ensuring alignment with standardized processes
- Identify data gaps and collaborate with Engineering Records, Drawings, Operations, and Project teams to resolve discrepancies
- Support backlog reduction through bulk data cleanup, prioritization of service requests, and workflow improvements
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives using tools such as Power Apps, Excel, or basic scripting
- Assist with field validation activities as required
- Communicate clearly by collecting, organizing, and relaying accurate data and insights to project leads and engineering teams
What's Needed?
- Related university degree or technical diploma in Engineering or a similar field, with exposure to oil & gas operations or technologies
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures and decision rules
- Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings to extract relevant data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management tools
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with asset management systems such as Maximo or similar platforms
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings such as P&IDs, flow diagrams, or electrical schematics
