Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, highlighting benefits and upselling opportunities
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash and credit payments with precision
- Maintain merchandising standards, ensuring products are well-organized and displays are attractive
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment as needed
- Uphold store policies on cash handling, security, and safety protocols
- Utilize strong communication skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
- Demonstrate organizational skills by managing multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for product demos and POS systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (e.g., English and Spanish) are a plus for serving a diverse customer base
- Familiarity with technology products or technical sales can enhance customer engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in merchandising, cashiering, or customer service roles is advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
