General Responsibilities:
Responsible to work within a team environment to accomplish the Customer Requirements for manufactured quality products and assembling complete orders, in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
Specific Accountabilities
- Set up and operate band saw and chamfer machine to cut parts from assorted materials according to customer specifications.
- Read work order list, drawings, and specifications to determine machine setup, type of material or part, quantity, and finished dimensions.
- Measure and mark cutting and trimming lines on material or part, using measuring instruments, scriber, or marking pen, or mounts material or part in cutting or trimming fixture.
- Install and align machine accessories, such as cutting tips / saw blades, work positioner, plates, fixtures, and shields, using hand tools and measuring instruments, or enters coordinate information into computer control panel.
- Manipulate machine controls, such as buttons, switches, dials, levers, and pedals, to regulate and adjust cutting speed and flow of fluid.
- Observe displays, cutting or trimming process, and listen to sound of machines to detect malfunctions.
- Replace worn or damaged machine parts, such as blades and washers.
- Measure dimensions of finished part, to ensure accuracy of product.
- Clean machines and work area.
- Trim, sand, and/or drill parts, using shop equipment.
- Ensure package and product quality.
- Clean equipment and area during and after shift. Maintain a clean work area, and have good housekeeping practices at all times.
- Monitor equipment for repairs and advise/work with supervisor or maintenance to ensure repairs are completed and equipment stays in good operational order.
- Perform stock inventory counts or periodic cycle counts of raw materials as requested.
- Obtain and maintain forklift and first aid certifications.
- Ensure to follow and enforce all company policies/procedures and safety regulations.
- Ensure all raw material product to maintain proper labeling when opened and ensure product is protected while in storage.
- Package stud/nut/gasket kits, if required.
- Assist shipping department, if required. Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be comfortable with heights (6’-10’)

- Must be able to lift/carry 15-50Lbs
- Must be able to be on your feet for minimum of 8hrs/day
- Must be able to perform frequent twisting, kneeling, squatting
- Must be able to pass random drug testing
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing of threaded product along with working in high-speed Manufacturing operation is required.
Addition requirements, that would be considered an asset
Ability to operate various equipment, ie: forklift, order picker, power tools
