TeksMed Services is launching a Mental Health Support Clinic to provide accessible, high-quality mental health services directly to members. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Counsellor to deliver confidential, one-on-one support to members, helping them take the first step toward care. You will play a key role in assessing needs, recommending appropriate treatment pathways and connecting members to the right services at the right time.
Duties
- Provide private, one-on-one counselling sessions to members in a safe and confidential setting
- Conduct initial assessments to understand mental health concerns and needs
- Develop personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s situationEducate members on available treatment options and benefits coverage to support informed decision-making
- Triage members to the most appropriate treatment pathway based on symptom severity
- Collaborate with team and external providers to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards
Requirements
- Background social work, mental health, psychology, counselling and/or case management
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited institution
- Education and/or practical experience in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)
- Strong assessment, communication and client-centred care skills

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
