Pearle Developments is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to support the successful delivery of construction projects across Southern Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging construction professional who enjoys coordinating multiple project activities, working with both office and field teams, and contributing to projects from pre-construction through closeout.
What You'll Do:
Project Coordination & Administration
- Support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent with day-to-day coordination of construction activities.
- Maintain organized project records, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
- Assist in ensuring all documentation is current, accurate, and properly distributed.
- Track project milestones and support progress reporting.
Document Control & Project Systems
- Manage document control processes using Procore or similar platforms.
- Maintain and update RFI logs, submittal logs, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure timely distribution and tracking of project documents to stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining drawing registers and issuing updated plans to trades.
Procurement & Tendering Support
- Assist in preparing tender packages and coordinating bid submissions from subcontractors.
- Analyze and organize bid information for review by the Project Manager.
- Support subcontractor onboarding, including contract documentation and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate purchase orders and track material deliveries.
Scheduling & Cost Control Support
· Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, updates and contracts under the supervisor of the Project Manager
· Prepare and issue change orders as approved by the Project Manager
- Track project costs, commitments, and change orders.
- Support the preparation of cost reports and budget updates.
- Monitor progress against schedules and flag potential risks or delays.
Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate communication between project team members, trades, consultants, and clients.
- Schedule meetings and prepare/distribute agendas and minutes.
- Respond to routine project inquiries and escalate issues when directed by Project Manager.
- Support site teams by ensuring they have required documentation and information.
Health, Safety & Compliance Support
- Assist in maintaining project compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure required safety documentation is collected and maintained.
- Support site teams with safety reporting and documentation tracking.
Closeout & Turnover
- Assist in compiling closeout documentation, including O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings.
- Track deficiencies and support coordination of closeout activities.
- Ensure final documentation is complete and properly organized for turnover.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in a construction coordination, project administration, or project support role.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of construction processes, project documentation, and project lifecycles.
Experience
- 2–6 years of progressive experience in construction, project coordination, or project administration.
- Experience supporting ICI construction projects is preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
