We are looking for an experienced 310T Truck Mechanic that can diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair all series of trucks and their components. This position will work on fire apparatus and emergency vehicles with our service team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues and make necessary repairs to fire trucks and emergency vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on truck chassis and fire apparatus components
- Perform major repairs on engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, air brakes, transmissions and all other parts of the apparatus
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold a valid 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic license
- 310S would be considered an asset
- Hands-on experience in shop processes
- DZ license and emergency services experience and/or knowledge considered an asset
- Understand and adhere to the Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations
- Dependable, hardworking, punctual, and a reliable team player with a positive attitude
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
