Sempra Illuminations is looking for a contract-based Landscaper / Interlock Installation Technician to become a part of our growing team. In this position, you will assist with the installation of interlocking, landscape features, outdoor lighting, and exterior enhancement projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install interlocking stone, pavers, walkways, patios, and landscape features
- Assist with grading, excavation, leveling, and site preparation
- Operate and maintain landscaping and construction tools/equipment
- Install outdoor lighting and exterior enhancement features when required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with landscaping, interlock, and construction tools/equipment
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labour
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently on-site
- Experience with interlocking, landscaping, or construction is a strong asset
- Experience operating compact equipment (plate compactors, concrete saws, skid steers, etc.) is an asset
- Must have a valid “G” driver’s license in good standing
Education and Experience:
- No specific education required
- Previous experience in landscaping, interlocking, construction, or related trades is preferred
- Experience with grading, hardscaping, or outdoor construction is a strong asset
- Working at Heights Certificate is a bonus
- Experience towing trailers or operating machinery is a bonus
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

- Class G Licence (preferred)

- MEWPS Certificate (preferred)
