Regalz Kitchen & Bar is looking for a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook / Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are a busy restaurant focused on quality food, consistency, cleanliness, and great service.
We are looking for someone who is serious about working full time and can commit to a consistent schedule.
Position Overview
The Prep Cook / Line Cook will support daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with cooking, maintaining cleanliness, and helping the kitchen run smoothly during service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours, including plating and garnishing
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Follow proper food storage practices to prevent contamination and waste
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs
- Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or food service environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with serving procedures and meal presentation is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards
- Experience with food handling equipment and kitchen tools is advantageous
Schedule
- Full time hours only
- Weekday and weekend availability required
- Evening availability required
