Front of House Bakery Team Member – Full-Time & Part-Time

Goldsmith’s Market & Bakery is looking for both full-time and part-time team members to join our front-of-house bakery team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and taking pride in creating and displaying delicious food.
Our bakery team works with a combination of made-from-scratch recipes and prepared frozen products that are baked and finished in-house. No previous bakery experience is required — we’re happy to train the right people!
What You’ll Do
- Assist with preparing and baking our made-from-scratch pies and other baked goods, including muffins, cakes, and more, according to established recipes and procedures
- Bake, finish, package, and display a variety of bakery products
- Keep bakery displays well stocked, organized, and looking their best
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
- Assist customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Work efficiently as part of a busy team
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This is an active, physically demanding position in a busy bakery environment. Team members must be able to:
- Remain on their feet and moving for the majority of their shift
- Regularly bend, reach, carry, and perform repetitive tasks
- Safely lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Work around hot ovens and other bakery equipment
- Move between different temperatures, including working near ovens and accessing refrigerated and freezer areas
- Work comfortably and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Availability
We are ideally looking to hire one full-time and one part-time team member. Some scheduling flexibility is available; however, successful candidates must:
- Be available to work at least one weekend day, with Sunday availability strongly preferred
- Be available for at least one day during long weekends
- Be available for opening shifts beginning at 6:30 a.m.
