Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with genuine hospitality.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Manage multiple tables by prioritizing tasks effectively through excellent time management skills.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all payments.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, accommodating requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Assist with food preparation or setup when needed, supporting the team in delivering seamless service.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus but can be trained on-site.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in serving or working within the food industry helps ensure a smooth transition into this energetic role.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
