Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to support our operations, ensuring the efficient handling, transportation, and maintenance of our products and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team committed to high standards of service and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including storage spaces and equipment
- Fold linen and garments to quality standards
- Inspect for defects and repairs needed
- Perform quality control on items and inventory to go to customers
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials or operating machinery
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock and reporting shortages or damages
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to meet operational goals
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manual labour or warehouse support is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently and safely
- Long periods of standing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in industrial or warehouse environments
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
